Session Description:
Explore the vibrant, unscripted world of city life through street photography with Mathias Wasik. In this session, he will showcase and discuss his work, offering views on capturing urban stories, moments, and rhythms.
Mathias Wasik combines city energy and social awareness, documenting diverse city moments with cinematic framing and a human rights perspective. Expect a session rich in visual storytelling, cultural insight, and discussion about how photographers use the street as a stage for human stories.

Mathias Wasik Bio:
Mathias Wasik is a photographer whose work presents an insightful view into the daily life of contemporary urban environments. His photography uncovers the contrasting aspects of city life, revealing both its polished facade and its more obscure, grittier sides. Mathias approaches photography with a documentary eye, seeking scenes that feel both intimate and universal. His work has been featured in exhibitions and publications, and he continues to shoot both personal and commissioned projects across different cities and cultures.
Mathias is currently based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a member of the New York City Street Photographer Collective (NYC-SPC), a collective dedicated to creating and sharing the art of capturing life in public spaces.
