Drawing on her extensive experience teaching over 50 seminars with the Speedlight Fundamentals team, Julie will guide you through the principles and practical applications of lighting to craft compelling fine art images. You’ll learn how light can shape mood, enhance texture, and elevate your creative vision.
With her passion for building supportive photography communities and her unique perspective shaped by both personal and professional journeys, Julie brings not only technical insight but also heartfelt encouragement to inspire your artistic growth.

Julie Gayler Bio:
Julie Gayler is a Featured Fujifilm Photographer, and Westcott Top Pro who has a talent for creating striking, memorable images through exploring unique lighting techniques. She has run her photography business for over 15 years in 5 states with a background spanning weddings, events, commercial work, and portraiture. As a teacher, Julie has taught numerous workshops and demos across the country, with a focus on making complex concepts simple and practical. Her goal is to help photographers develop their own style and voice as artists. Outside of photography, she enjoys the quiet beauty of country life, homeschooling her four kids, and creating fun and quirky images with their flock of chickens.
